Hello Neighbors,
I want to mention why I decided to resign, after so short a term on the HOA Board.
#1: My wife didn’t want me to do this in the first place. I went against her wishes and did it anyway.
#2: My wife didn’t want me to do this and after attempting to perform the duties of the trustee, I realized that she was right and I was wrong.
#3: The total compensation package ($0) didn’t come close to paying me what I thought I was worth. The lost sleep, early mornings checking on the sprinkler system, coordinating vendor relationship, responding to emails and texts from other board members and owners were more than I had any idea. I just can’t keep up with it all and maintain my sanity. In order to maintain my physical and emotional strength, and most of all, to maintain my wonderful marriage of almost 52 years, I saw fit to resign.
After sleeping and praying about my decision, I determined that I should NOT TAKE DOWN the website. This was petty of me. I know many of you have benefitted from it. It’s still up and running: https://trimblcreekhoa.org
Kathie and I are still your neighbors and hope to be for a long time.
