Our long-time neighbor, Bob Johnson, passed away on February 13, 2026. He and his wife were one of the first residents of the Trimble Creek Neighborhood. She passed away in about 2018.

Obituary

Robert (Bob) Lee Johnson, 82, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026. He was born on September 30, 1943, in Los Angeles, California to Lester and Beula Johnson.

Bob married his eternal companion, Kathleen (Kay) Astle, on September 4, 1965, in the Los Angeles Temple. He worked as a computer programmer for most of his career and was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.

A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bob served a mission in Florida and faithfully served in many church callings throughout his life. He also served as a temple worker in the Jordan River Utah Temple. His faith and love for his family were central to who he was.

Bob loved Hawaii and cherished vacationing there, especially snorkeling in the ocean. He was also an avid fan of Brigham Young University sports and enjoyed cheering on the Cougars.

Bob is survived by six of his seven children: Robert (Chrissy) Johnson, Jennifer Lucas, Tamara Wheeler, Scott Johnson, Julie (Roger) Hill, and Coleen (Matthew) Ellsworth; 26 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kay; his son, Todd; and his grandsons, Levi and Gavin.

The family expresses heartfelt thanks to Copper Creek Memory Care and Ovation Hospice for their compassionate care.

Bob will be missed by his neighbors in the Trimble Creek Neighborhood.
